Gun Safe

I still remember the day when I and Bob were staying together in our forest house. At exactly twelve in the night we heard a loud screech back in the barn. We got afraid and decided to check it out. We have been reading a lot about recent robbery that was happening in that area. Bob reached out to his shotgun safe and took out his shotgun. We opened the backdoor and without turning the lights on we proceeded. As we reached bob dropped his hat and it created a mild diversion to me. And then the next minutes Bob just disappeared in the darkness. I was frozen for the moment. While I was picking his hat I had lost his lead. And then I heard a gunshot being fired. I started yelling. Bob came running to me with his flashlight. He said it was a wild panther from the forest. Imagine my reaction to that. I was stunned and scared.
